The Climate Reality Project is a nonprofit education and advocacy organization founded by former US Vice President Al Gore to turn awareness into action by training people from all walks of life to become effective and passionate climate activists. Climate Reality has trained over 13,700 leaders from around the world to take climate action. In order to support such a large and diverse community of activists, Climate Reality has 10 branch offices, located in Africa, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Europe, India, Indonesia, Mexico, and the Philippines. The Climate Speakers Network (CSN) is a program of The Climate Reality Project. CSN works with partners to train, support, and empower peer messengers to use their own values and vocabulary to make climate change advocacy accessible in their communities. CSN has partnered with organizations at the grassroots, state, national, and even international levels to organize trainings on climate impacts, solutions, and how to effectively communicate the crisis through personal stories.
